Can anyone tell me where the fuse box is located in a 2001 Mercedes C320? I dont have an owners manual or the fuse chart so if anyone could also tell me which fuse is for the steering wheel lock? My problem is that when I put my key into my ignition it will not turn. There is no sound like their usually is (I think that sound is releasing the steering lock) and the key does absolutely nothing (nothing lights up in dash etc). I am still able to unlock/lock the door with the Smart Key and the headlights, interior lights etc all work in the car so I dont think that it is the battery. I just got a new ignition put in the car 3 months ago so I dont think it is the ignition. I have narrowed it down to either the key is worn and dead and I neeed a new one. Or a fuse or something blew so I need to replace it etc. Any advice on this is greatly appreciated! Thank you!
There is a fuse to protect the circut operating the electric steering lock.

I got i new key but my c320 dont do anything and i have eletriciti. Ut dont turn in the ignition
The fuse chart is located on the side of the dash, drivers side, behind the triangular panel. there are multiple fuse boxes, drivers side under hood, left side of dash, left trunk behind panels. sounds like you have a key or EIS (electronic ignition switch) problem. The steering wheel wont unlock till the key is recognized. The EIS isnt recognizing the key at all if it wont turn in the ignition. But if the EIS recognizes the key signal for locking and unlocking, then its probably the key. First thing to do i try another key. If you dont have a 2nd key, youre gonna HAVE to buy one before any further diagnosis can be performed

My 2001 ml320 Mercedes drivers side electric window will not go up . I have replaced the console switch panel with no results. help
Same problem here only intermittent. key only works when sun is up . Does not work on cold cloudy days.
