I got another system alarm for this vehicle ( VIPER Alarm) and I don't want the original alarm, is failing constantly.
I would take it back to the people that installed the viper system. They should have bypassed the manufacturers system. Which you really can't do. But the new system will override and send the needed signals to operate the car.
You really need to know what you are doing if doing this , as wires were cut to your starter and to your coil and to the radio when it was fitted you can damage your ECU if you get it wrong .it would be better to get a provisional to do this.doing it yourself is a bad idea if you are not sure how to do this.
