According to the software release notices, it wasn't until version 7.0d that they made it Windows 7 compatible. You aren't saying what OS you are migrating from, but it may be that you are running too old a version of the program. You could try one of two other options.
- Try running the program as an administrator. Right click on the program icon and select "run as administrator".
- Try running in compatibility mode for the OS you were using it with previously, right click on the program icon and select the "properties item". Then click on the compatibility tab and use the pulldown to select the OS to simulate the program for.
If they both fail to work, you may have to upgrade to a newer version. Many older applications stopped playing nice starting with Windows 8. Many of them actually worked if you loaded VISTA drivers and/or compatibility, but not all. Most Windows 7 and later software has no issues with Win10.
