20 Most Recent Frigidaire ATF6000ES Front Load Washer Questions & Answers

I was doing a search for infor on how to clean my affinity front load washer, and came across this infor and this did not work for me either, but when I turned my dial to rinse and spin then hit clean the clean option appeared.

it could be the problem but the first thing i would look at is the drain pump and check for anything that may be obstructing it from turning this will cause the washer not to run properly

E91 is for the control board failure and needs to be replaced. Here is the part to order. To replace the board remove the top of the unit.

You have to remove the rubber boot. It is very easy, just pull it off with your fingers. The spring is easy to strech most of the way around by hand, finish with a channel lock etc.

"E20" is indicates a drain problem.
- Set towels under the hoses in the rear of the washer and disconnect the drain hose. Clean the drain hose screen and look for debris where the hose connects to the washer. Clean as necessary.
- Remove the front access panel from the washing machine and locate the drain pump. Remove the screw clamp and clean out any debris that may be causing an obstruction.
- Clean the sump hose that is connected to the trap cup and reassemble. Close the front access panel.
- Restore power and press "Drain/Spin" to remove any remaining water from the tub.

not a very sturdy pedestal, front loaders need concret solid base

clogged filter will cause this error code. I have the same washer and the filter located inside the rubber boot attached to the pump was full of junk. there was enough room for water to get thru but not enough for full volume. clean it out and it should work. note : its a pain to get the boot back on so be ready and take it slow. this worked for me.

Frigidaire washer sucks. I'm tired of this useless machine ripping my clothes. You need to change your bellows(boot) kits around the door on front load. I have changed this kit twice now and each time, I spent $200 in repair fees. I wished I never bought this washer. Will never recommend to anyone i know.

"pause" isn't something you can reset exactly I'm afraid. Pause means that the washer door was opened mid cycle so all you should need to do is shut the door to restart the cycle. Unfortunately if it doesn't re-start, it means that your door latch assembly has failed and isn't sensing that the door is shut. You'll need to order and replace the door latch assembly to fix the issue. It's actually a fairly easy part to replace if you're handy. You'll need to unplug the washer and open the door to start with. Then there is a wire ring around the front lip of the rubber door gasket. Use a flat head screwdriver/needle nose pliers and pry the wire ring off. From there you can pull the gasket back out of the way. Remove the screws going into the door latch from the front and reach behind to replace the door latch assembly. Make SURE the door strike on the door isn't broken too. that's only a 6$ or so item. there seems to be a problem in the water pump as its not draining properly check that there's not a button or other debris in the system first eric
