With the tv off,
press and hold the bottom button (input)
when the tv turns on, and you see the input menu
release and press the button to put the tv into a mode that works!

Please check for bad electrolytic capacitors on both main board & power supply, if there is any "pup-up" one, replace it (them).

This is normal on vizios, ours does it too. You have it switched onto RGB input. You need to change input after it comes on. Switch on and keep pressing change input button till it changes and then it will be fine. Alternatively plug in a computer on Rgb and then turn on, you will be able to change input normally.

Remove the TV cabinet to expose the circuit boards and plug and unplug the connectors the main circuit board, that many times will fix the issue.

There are two methods to reset TVs. The first is simple to do; a Hard Reset. The other is somewhat skilled; is a Factory Reset (System Reset). remove all the screws and start at the bottom and push in the tabs, and work around the edges, being careful not to pry too hard, the cover has clips all around the tv. after the bottom is free and one of the corners the cover will kind of pop off if you use the palm of your hand and lightly tap as you apply sum upward pressure.
