I'm not familiar with this model of dryer, but I understand that this is a vent less condenser model(?). If there is a condenser tank on the dryer, you may have to empty it from time to time. The excessive steam could be a sign that you have a tank that is full. I don't know if this will be of much help to you (I hope it does). Double check your owner's manual to see if it mentions anything about this in the care and use instructions. Take care.

SOURCE: My WVF 2402 washer/dryer washes clothes ok but doesn't dry them.

Sorry I'm way late with this but I've only just noticed it. Unplug the machine from the mains! Remove the lid (with a torx screwdriver) and you'll notice a small circular device with 2 leads attached on the top of the machine, in the centre there's a small button, press it and it should click......you've fixed it This is a thermal cutout safety device designed to switch the drying heater off if it becomes too hot. The probable cause for this is that you've over filled the machine and the air didn't circulate freely. as a rule of thumb, dry 1/2 as many clothes as you wash.

The machine thinks the drain is blocked.. check the pump and outlet pipe for buildup of dirt.

I noticed holding start down for several seconds whilst powering the machine on, then turning it off / then on again would clear the machine's idea of where it was during a program. Does this affect the error code you're seeing?

I have a Haire combo unit. (washer/dryer) The dryer is a condenser type. I had a this problem with the dryer part of my unit. It was still under warranty at the time so naturally I called. When the tech came out he discovered that the heating element had melted the fan all over the blower elements. this problem could have been fixed, however, Haire came out with a newer model and couldn't get the parts anymore because they weren't making them anymore. Needless to say that totally sucked. But, at least the washer still works great. Upon doing a little research, I discovered that most condenser dryers do get too hot to support one or more of thier internal elements. I would not get another dryer like this without asking about this problem and if there has been any rectification of this issue and how so.

Remove plastic panel at front bottom of washer, there you will see the filter, unscrew it anti clockwise to remove and clean, replace and tighten up clockwise.
Plz rate my solution.
Thanks.

I have a Bosch exxcel washer dryer. It does washing and clothes still soaked wet after finishing. When turning dryer on it gives error f17...Please can anyone help as I dont have manual.Thank you in advance.

F17 is water not coming into the appliance . if the appliance is ok when you use the wash cycles the fault will be with the valve on the drying cycle or your pcb . your inlet valve is a triple valve . 1 for the main wash and 1 for the pre-wash which are used for your wash cycles .the third one is for the drying cycle . it uses the water to condense the steam on the drying cycle . unplug the appliance . remove the lid . the inlet valve is at the back right . the far left one is the drying valve .It is more common that is at fault than your pcb . The only way you can be sure is with the use of a multimeter . you can do this with the power off .if you have access to one remove the 2 connections and measure the continuity (ohms ) across the two points . if it is open circuit ( no reading ) then that part of the valve is faulty . be warned though , this part can still be faulty even if you have a reading . if you or someone you know is competent with using a multimeter you can re-connect it then turn the appliance onto the drying cycle and see if you have voltage to the part . all that said if you lack experience fit a new valve . it is quite a common fault .

I have a Bosch Exxcel front loading washer dryer and can't remove the detergent drawer to clean it, plus all washing cycles take well in excess of 2 1/2 hours to complete. Annoying

Normal wash loads do not take over one hour, but you have to set them on clean any stain option and it will take 107 minutes to wash.
It sounds to me like your washer needs servicing by a trained Bosch serviceman, because it should not do this.

Bosch exxcel washing machine/dryer

Is it waiting to heat up? Try it on a spin cycle and see if it stops. If not, it may be a thermostat fault or heater element not working. Worst case may be timer faulty

Machine is displaying F17 have cleaned out filter still having problem with dryer not working

Hi.

F17 means that there is poor or no water inlet detected.

From user manual: F17 Turn the tap on fully, check that the supply hose is not kinked/jammed; clean filter (see page 10 of manual). Also check water pressure is not too low.

If that does not fix the problem, then inlet valve, pressure from the house and water pressure switch must be tested. The defective part must be replaced.

Regards.

Keep getting error f17 on my bosch classixx 6 washing machine

My old Bosch only had a filter in the machine (where the hose attaches. My Exxcel has a filter IN THE HOSE at the tap end too. I removed that one and it made a big difference !

Clothes still wet aftre drying cycle over

It sounds as if the wash cycle isn't terminated by pumping the rinse water out and spinning to rid the clothing of most of the water.
Most dryers sense moisture but I think they all will have a maximum run-time to prevent possible fires if the programmer fails to shut them down at the end of the drying cycle.
I would watch the machine and when it started the drying cycle, I would shut it off and check for surplus water that hadn't been pumped out as it should have been.
