This Blu-Ray Disc needs a library for AACS decoding, and your system does not have it.
Have the same problem. I installed the AACS lib and the key database (UPDATED 20-04-2012!) I got no error from the VLC media player if I choose the BD drive to load the video. But after loading the BD and click the play button I see nothing.
Finally found this article and got this issue fixed. It says that Blu-ray disc needs a library for AACS decoding. You can also check this article for help too.
Guide: How to Fix VLC Media Player Won't Play Blu-ray Issue
Blu-ray Disc with AACS is not able to be played anywhere unless it is given an AACS decoding. And AACS decoder is the tool that can help us decrypt the content on the disc, so we are able to play on the go.
If you are using VLC, you can check on this tutorial to solve the issue
AACS Decoder for VLC
If you would like a more direct way, you can download Leawo Blu-ray Player which is a player that can play AACS-protected Blu-ray movie.
The computer requires newer codes or an updated player. Use VLC Player (free). It is very versatile and self updates.
K-Lite codec pack has all codecs.

POSSIBLE solution... (don't shoot the messenger on this one, lol!)
I'm sure you have tried, but have you cleaned your optics lately? The best thing about Blu-ray is that it uses a much narrower laser beam to read the data, so more "stuff" can fit on a disk... however, this leaves far less room for error. It may be able to read a DVD, since the DVD's "grooves" are much wider, and a CD's "grooves" are like the grand canyon compared to Blu-ray...
Using a Q-tip and a small amount of rubbing alcohol, and GENTLY rotate the swab across the lens, rotating it in the opposite direction you are wiping. This should "lift" any dust or grime from the lens. I would also clean the tray with a soft lint-free cloth (using an air-can just moves the dirt around, doesn't solve the problem)
Hope this helps!

I would take the movie back. We have found DVDs which cause similar problems.

Hi,
You need to download K Lite Codec Pack (Its Free) and you can install it via....... or you can try googling it.
http://www.codecguide.com/download_kl.htm
It contains all the different audio and video codecs. Your computer might not play it because it doesnt have a blue ray codec by default
