With the power turned off, open the DVD Player, and then open the top where you load the DVD into the player. Locate the laser lens and notice that the laser is attached to a transport assembly that moves the laser diagonally outward in a slot. 1. Slide this assembly outward to the end of its track. 2. Slide the assembly back inward to the closest inward position. 3. Repeat the process of sliding the assembly outward and then back inward.4. Put in a music CD and let it play all the way through. This helps to calibrate the laser head assembly movement. When the music CD is finished playing. 5. Put in a DVD, and you should have a working unit again This is a factory solution from Mintek that was given to a customer who ask for help with the forever loading disc problems. This solution may work on other models of portable DVD players. Most portable DVD players use this type of transport mechanism. Try this solution it might work for you. I hope this information helps you with your problem.

For the no disc issue, there are always some common fixes that you can apply to make it functions normally. Here is how you can try.

Step 1:Press the "Eject" or "Open" button on the DVD player to disc tray to determine if it opens easily and does not appear jammed or hindered. If the disc tray appears to open slower than usual or fails to open, the disc may not sit flush in the tray or otherwise be seated properly. Use your hand to pull out the disc tray slowly if it does not open on its own and then reseat the disc. Close the disc tray and press "Play" on the DVD player again to see if reseating the disc in the tray corrects the "NO DISC" error.

Step 2:Remove the disc from the DVD player. Use a lint-free cloth and some denatured alcohol or water to clean the disc and remove any dust or smudges that may prevent the player from reading it properly. Reinsert the disc into the player and press "Play" to see if cleaning the disc fixes the "NO DISC" error.

If this still cannot work, you could try some other DVD player program such as Leawo Blu-ray Player and 5K Player.

Computer burned DVD will not play on Mintek model MDP-1810 portable DVD player

Do you use a DVD burning program or DVD copy program to convert ISO file to DVD? Normally, if you not, it is just data DVD and not a playable DVD disc for DVD player machine.
You can try to use some programs to copy ISO to DVD such as Leawo Blu-ray Copy or Windows Disc Image Burner. Microsoft has included a default feature of burning ISO files to DVD disc.
