0178 will work but you have to keep the set-up button pressed down for more than a few seconds after you press TV on your cox remote. (You will see the tv button light up 2 or 3 times after pressing it and holding the set-up button down)

1758 works even better, as you can select inputs, navigate the setup menu, ALL of the tv's features. 0178 won't do that.

Check out 1758 for full-featured use.

You can get replacement Vizio remotes from Walmart, $10. As far as the pedestal, I can't locate one either. I would suggest checking Ebay frequently. This manual might work for your remote. It does not have codes for Vizio either but does have the procedure for Finding codes not listed on PAGE 20. Go through that procedure which can find codes that will work.
