I have a murray gas powered weed eater with a curved shaft that I got at walmart and I've had it for about 2 years now roughly I think. About a month ago it started vibrating a ton. I've removed the head and tightened it back on but it still vibrates a lot. I have seen videos on youtube saying this sometimes happens when the bushing or drive shaft wear out but I can't seem to figure out how to access it without taking the motor off or something. For it's head I got fed up with the cord so I got one of those replaceable heads with the 3 pront blades that just snap in and that worked fine for a long time so I am thinking something else is going on. Any ideas? Or roughly how much it might cost me to go get it fixed or should I just buy a new one?

Just give it a try. Some different brands will interchange. I have done this with a Toro and it is still running.
