I have a whirlpool duet ht, the control locked light is on, the machine won’t go on. I tried unplugging it pressed the control on. Nothing Can you please help?

It should be flashing a code that you can look up. A common code is for the pump to be jammed with something. It can be freed up through an access point under the lower front cover.

On Duet models, Press and hold the End of Cycle Signal button for three seconds. This will turn off the Control Locked feature.

Press the "End of Cycle Signal" button, the last button on the bottom right, for 5-10 seconds. That should resolve the problem.

I would first replace the door latch/lock assembly, a number of users have and it fixed the F-11 error code completely. Its the cheapest part for this problem.

The duet washer has been unplugged overnight. The control locked light is on and won't shut off. Pressing the end cycle button does nothing. What else can we try?

try holding the sop/cancel button for 15seconds, this should reset it but may not completely remedy the problem. after you reset it see if any other lights blink or if any other problems arise
