you may need to cut the corners off a little bit on the start of the new roll and feed the paper in while advancing with the calculator advance control/button
Hi cherycooney,
Press the '2nd' button, press the 'M+' button. 'NP' should appear on the display screen, and print function will be turned off. Thanks for using Fixya.
There should be a small slot towards the back. The paper gets fed from the back bottom, and it comes through the top just behind the display.
IF you take your roll of paper, tear off a fresh new edge, make an arrow point at the end (fold 1 side to the middle, and then fold the other side to the middle to meet the other side) to make the paper look like : " > " then insert the pointed side in the slot, and then press PAPER FEED at the same time. The paper should start feeding and you should be good to go.
I Finally figured it out after playing with it for almost 1/2 an hour!
Hit 2nd then Tax + (rate set) it will appear as 0.000 enter your tax rate... mine is 5% so I enter 5.0 then hit 2nd and Tax + (rate set again) And it will work!
It is glorious!!!
