Film won't load on Vectis 300 MinoIta

The clue is in your descrition; Old. If the mechanism has jammed, due to age or lack of use that causes tarnisg=hing on the contacts, the motor/mechanism will not load. I would get it serviced at an aurgorised Minolta repair shop. Contact Minolta for a list of authorised repairers.

I tried to use a 16GB PNYcard in my picture fram and it would not work. It said "No Card" on the screen. What's the answer?

If your picture frame is not recognizing the 16GB PNY card and displaying a "No Card" message, there could be several reasons for this issue:
  1. Compatibility: Some picture frames may have limitations on the size or type of memory card they can accept. Ensure that the picture frame is compatible with SDHC or SDXC cards, as these are the types commonly used for higher-capacity cards like 16GB.
  2. File System: Check if the memory card is formatted in a compatible file system such as FAT32 or exFAT. Some picture frames may not recognize cards formatted in other file systems. You may need to format the card using a compatible file system on your computer before using it in the picture frame.
  3. Card Reader Slot: Ensure that the memory card is inserted correctly into the card reader slot of the picture frame. Sometimes, improper insertion can prevent the device from detecting the card.
  4. Card Compatibility: While SDHC and SDXC cards are generally backward-compatible with devices that support SD cards, some older picture frames may have limited compatibility with higher-capacity SD cards. Try using a lower-capacity SD card (e.g., 2GB or 4GB) to see if the picture frame recognizes it.
  5. Faulty Card or Picture Frame: If none of the above solutions work, there may be an issue with either the memory card or the picture frame itself. Try using the memory card in a different device to check if it's functioning correctly. Similarly, try using a different memory card in the picture frame to see if it's able to recognize it. If the problem persists, there may be a hardware issue with either the card or the picture frame, and you may need to contact the manufacturer for assistance or consider replacing the faulty component.
By following these troubleshooting steps, you should be able to determine the cause of the issue and resolve it accordingly.

My Nikon FM has an issue where every-other time I advance the film the shutter mirror flips up and the shutter goes off. I can actually watch the mirror go up as I'm winding if I take the lens off

It sounds like your Nikon FM may be experiencing a mechanical issue with the shutter mechanism. Here are a few troubleshooting steps you can try:
  1. Inspect the Film Advance Mechanism: Check the film advance lever and mechanism to ensure they are functioning properly. Make sure there are no obstructions or debris interfering with the movement of the advance lever.
  2. Check the Shutter Release Button: Inspect the shutter release button to see if it's sticking or malfunctioning. Sometimes, a stuck or sticky shutter release button can cause the shutter to fire unintentionally.
  3. Examine the Mirror Mechanism: Carefully inspect the mirror mechanism to see if there are any visible signs of damage or misalignment. If the mirror is flipping up unexpectedly, there may be an issue with the mechanism that controls its movement.
  4. Clean and Lubricate: If the camera hasn't been serviced in a while, it's possible that dirt, dust, or dried lubricant may be causing the issue. Consider cleaning the internal components of the camera and applying a small amount of appropriate lubricant to the moving parts (be cautious and follow proper procedures when lubricating a camera).
  5. Seek Professional Repair: If the issue persists after attempting basic troubleshooting, it's advisable to have the camera inspected and repaired by a qualified camera technician. They can diagnose the problem more accurately and perform any necessary repairs or adjustments to restore the camera to proper working condition.
  6. Use a Different Lens: Sometimes, issues with the lens can affect the camera's operation. Try using a different lens to see if the problem persists. If the issue only occurs with a specific lens, there may be a problem with that particular lens.
It's essential to handle the camera with care during troubleshooting, especially when accessing internal components. If you're unsure about performing any repairs or adjustments yourself, it's best to seek professional assistance to avoid causing further damage to the camera.

I lost one of the little rubber ball-like feet off my tripod 1612201. Do you have them available?

We don't have anything available Elizabeth. We are Fixya, and we only supply free information. It would be useful to know the maker as the '1612201' doesn't bring much up and looks like a serial number. Your local camera shop can get them, or you can get online. https://www.google.com/search?q=tripod+feet+replacement //

Where do I find the WPS PIN on my canon mg3220 printer. I need it for installation on a new router

I believe that Justus answer is incorrect and looks to be AI Produced. The SSID WPS PIN number is on the Router not on the printer. You tell the router to search for the printer, and you tell the printer to look for the Router. When they find each other, the Printer will ask you to enter the SSID and WPS Password that is on the Router. This is the way I did my Canon MG7120 to a Bell Home Hub Router. The process is the same setting up my iPhones for WiFi.It is shown herehttps://support.usa.canon.com/kb/index?page=content&id=ART137489..
