3.Wait for a few minutes to ensure that any residual power is discharged from the machine.
4.Plug the washing machine back into the power outlet.
5.Press and hold the "Start/Pause" button for approximately 5 seconds.

Whirlpool heavy duty commercial washer # cae2743800 will not start after coins inserted and start button held
Check the Coin Mechanism:
Ensure that the coin mechanism is functioning correctly. Sometimes, coins may get stuck or not register properly. Verify that the coin slots are clear and that the mechanism is engaging properly.
If there's an issue with the coin mechanism, it could prevent the washer from starting. You might need to clean or repair it.
Inspect the Wiring:
There should be a harness with two wires that go into the coin mechanism box. Check if these wires are intact and properly connected. If you find any damage or loose connections, consider repairing or replacing the wiring.
Bypass the Coin Mechanism:
If you suspect that the coin mechanism is causing the problem, you can bypass it temporarily.
Cut the wires going into the coin mechanism and insert a push button switch in the line. This will allow you to manually start the washer without relying on the coin mechanism.
If you're unsure how to do this, consider contacting a local repair shop for assistance.
Check for Other Issues:
Inspect other components such as the lid switch, control board, and start button. Any malfunction in these parts could prevent the washer from starting.
Make sure the washer is plugged in and that there are no tripped circuit breakers or blown fuses.

What does the coues of E4 error on Aftron top loading washing machine error code?
When the E4 error appears on your Aftron top-load washer, it usually means there's an issue with how the lid closes or locks. This error prevents the washer from knowing if the lid is shut tightly during use.
* Ensure the lid is completely closed and latched. If it's not fully closed, the washer will not start.
* Inspect the lid lock for any damage or blockages (e.g., dirt, debris, faulty latch) as these can prevent the lid from locking.
* Power off the washing machine and unplug it briefly, reconnect the power and restart the machine, this reset may resolve the error.
* Use a multimeter to check if the lid switch has continuity, this test will determine if the switch is functioning properly.
What does the error code EC on a Defy top loader mean?
Errors TE, EC, TC mean that the temperature sensor that measures the temperature of the water in the unit is not working properly. Some codes - for example, TE - appear only before the start of the wash.
These codes are typical of both ordinary washers and those that have a drying function.
Fix for error code E02F06 on Maytag mhw7000xw front load washer
I found this reference on the web ... from a repair technician on a Maytag Maxima>>>
So I'm really sorry to bring you this bad news, but let me explain your error codes. F06 E02 is a communication error between your MCU (motor control unit) and your CCU (central control unit). You'll want to remove the top panel, the control panel, and then the front panel of the washer and make sure the wire connections to the motor control unit below the tub are all secure. If everything checks good, you'd need to have the MCU replaced.
From a different reference on a similar Maytag MHW6000XW2 ... also indicating communication issue
Usually ... hidden somewhere on the inside of the washer you will find the service technician paperwork which has all sorts of additional detail.
